Rake

Rake who is a son of Polar is just a terrific all around terrier. In the photo he is pictured on the left next to his sister Static. They are just a little tired as they had been working a very large raccoon in an old beaver sette which was one of the largest settes I have seen in this country. Nearly 100' in length and almost 50' wide, this sette can hold a large number of raccoons. My friend Harold who discovered it has taken 7 and 8 coons at one time out of it. Rake has endless enthusiasm and will hunt all day long. He is an excellent baying terrier but will not hesitate for a moment to grab a quarry and haul it on out for your inspection. Any quarry that thinks they can push him out of the way to bolt will have a rude surprise in store for them as he is a powerful terrier of subatantial size, yet spanable enough to get in after groundhogs.
