Rancho Fiasco Working Terriers

We have a lot of requests for a website and this seems like the next best thing. We will post information about happenings around Rancho Fiasco including hunting stories, litters, pictures of some of our terriers and various trials and events we participate in.

More on Choco

Choco is 4 months old now. He is put together well for a ground working terrier. Decent bone and head, narrow front end and very flexible, a small spannable chest.
He is gamey as they come, maybe too much so for such a young terrier. His willingness to get hard after game like coons in a roll cage at such a young age has me cautiously optimistic about his hunting drive. He is very biddable and easy to get along with around other terriers although has somewhat of an independent streak. This can be dealt with and not a bad trait as in the hunt field, he will need to be able to be sensible and sort difficult problems out. His adult teeth are on the way in and we will start his working career next hunt season at the end of '08. I have a video of him working on a ground squirrel under a boulder and as soon as I figure out how to upload the video, I will post it for your review.
